I watched Rocky King live and it was live! Remembering this was in the early days of TV, the cast forgot lines, booms and cameras showed up on air accidentally, backstage sounds, used a cap pistol in a studio "alley", and I could go on and on. IMHO one of the great early, live shows. As a native New Yorker, we had a fancy Dumont TV to watch the Dumont Network on channel 5.

Yep, It is a facinating example of early TV. It's also the only DuMont Network show to be commercially released on DVD. I'm searching for more DuMont Network programming to upload, I've found a list of kinescopes that exist at the UCLA:

Too bad nobody looked after DuMomt's archive after they went defunct.
